Actually we told them they were lucky to have been included...and to just lay off the Twinkies, pizza and hot dogs! The UM cheerleading squad is being investigated in connection with the theft of tens of thousands of discount coupons. If they are found to be complicit, thankfully no TSUN cheerleaders will appear in the calendar. No evidence has linked them to the larceny at this time. However, a closer look at their pictures does provide at least circumstantial proof that they were connected. A copy of one of the stolen coupons is below: Just in...one former team member has admitted to being party to the theft. Below is a picture of her in an advertisment for Weight Watchers. The above told investigators she was paid to "model" for the ad and said that she did not participate in the advertiser's program. She went on to say that she agreed to appear in the ad only because, "I needed money for Twinkies, pizza and hot dogs after I exhausted my stash of the Mcdonald's coupons."
